Attempting to pack my room up, and I just found my Shaun-zombie-vinyl-hat from a couple of halloweens ago. I can’t bring myself to throw it away.
My work in the WSA Degree Show (left) and in For The Time Being (right).
It was great having 2 such different spaces to exhibit in. At WSA, the piece was in a huge, open, light space, in a fairly silent room. In London the room was tiny and dark, and my work was alongside a couple of pretty loud pieces. I made the decision not to take the plinth to London with me, and I’m glad I did - it would have looked huge and incongruously white in that little black room. Instead, the tvs were on the floor. I’d never pictured it like that at all, but I think I might have actually preferred it.
Olympic torch crowds (and a change of bunting), Winchester.
Went for a wander in town today. It was slightly rainy, but good. Haven’t done that in a while.
Fully appreciating having a phone that takes photos of more than about 3 pixels.
Private view last night was amazing, apparently one of the busiest they’ve ever had. Did my first invigilation shift this morning, and I have another one tomorrow. And Sunday… And Tuesday.
Loving the warm evenings. We’ve had 4 fires in the last 5 nights.
First attempt at pinhole camera building. Made from a match box.
Mental couple of days, many photoshoots. These were this morning, in an amazing sweet shop in town. They’re the first set I’ve finished editing, but I feel this could well be the beginning of an epic tumblr splurge.
